Session 3: Art for People Living with Dementia and Carers
The City of Kalamunda libraries are hosting a series of Information sessions and activities to help raise awareness about Dementia and improve the lives of people in our community living with Dementia.
Session #3 Information Session:
Activity: Art for People Living with Dementia and their Carers
In this interactive art session guests will create an artwork based on self-expression, and drawing upon memories, with the support of local Artist Dawn, who has experience working with people with Dementia. This session is suitable for people living with Dementia and their Carers. Guests are welcome to bring a photo or small item from home that helps to evoke a strong memory.
Tickets are $10 per participant and accompanying Carers are free. Tickets are not required for accompanying Carers. Numbers are very limited, to ensure a calm, and relaxing environment for the session.
Complimentary light morning tea will be provided for guests.
