The newly restored Jean-Luc Godard / Rolling Stones collaboration Sympathy for the Devil
(AKA One Plus One), made in June 1968 as the Stones were recording “Beggars Banquet”. Martin Scorsese observed, “Sympathy for the Devil: now that’s quintessential.
