2025 QLS Mental Health First Aid Course
In conjunction with the Queensland Law Society, the FNQLA is pleased to offer practitioners the opportunity to undertake a Mental Health First Aid for Legal Professionals course in Cairns on 20 August 2025. Venue to be advised in due course.
The course will be a blended face-to-face delivery and practitioners will be required to complete 5-7 hours of self-paced eLearning prior to the face-to-face session on 20 August 2025.
The Mental Health First Aid for Legal Professionals course is designed to equip adults with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to recognise, understand, and respond to a co-worker, client, or another adult experiencing a mental health problem or mental health crisis in the legal profession.
At the end of the course, all attendees will be required to complete a short assessment to receive a 3-year accreditation to be a MHFAider.
Prices for the course are as follows:-
1. 0-5year lawyers ($149),
2. QLS members ($299)
3. QLS non-members ($399).
