The Central Highlands North Network invites schools to join in a day of professional learning on the teaching of writing, presented by Emina McLean. Emina is an Australian language and literacy expert with over fifteen years’ experience across primary, secondary, and tertiary education.The day is appropriate for learning specialists, middle leaders and classroom teachers. It will focus on the core concepts in the teaching of writing, lesson design and delivery (bringing the VTLM 2.0 to life), differentiation, writing across year levels and subjects (integration and mapping), assessment schedules and scope and sequences.
