Collaging with Gelliprints
About
Learn about collaging techniques and building up a whimsical bird image from a rainbow of gelliprints.We'll be working on an 8x8inch deep edge canvas that can be easily displayed or gifted when finished. From gelliprints are cut simple shapes to start building up the background and composition and we'll explore how to arrange the shapes of our bird to create a posture and styling that is full of personality unique to the creator making it.
There will be a gelliprinting demo by the tutor to share the techniques used to create the vast array of prints she uses for her collage art and collage classes. There will be an opportunity to participants to get hands on and print new papers too.
