The Labor Government’s ‘Activity Centre’ Program, which eases planning restrictions to enable higher density development, is coming to Kew Junction.The Government has not yet released details on their proposal for Kew. Questions such as how many storeys will be approved for residential towers near the junction, and what density will be approved in the catchment area, remain unanswered.
I will be hosting a planning forum to hear directly from you about what sort of planning changes you would welcome in our community.
Joining me will be Emeritus Professor Michael Buxton of RMIT, one of our state’s foremost urban planning academics.
