safeTALK Training

About
Have you ever been in a conversation and thoughts of suicide are mentioned - you want to help, but don't know what to say or do?
Given the nature of our work, many of us may encounter people in crisis during our daily interactions. This training can equip us with the knowledge and confidence to recognise a person in crisis, have a simple conversation, and support them in getting help. safeTALK is a face-to-face, half-day course designed with researched based content, developed by the global organisation LivingWorks and facilitated by your HR Department team.
Time of Training (4-hour course)
Please arrive at 8:15 for registration, with a start time of 8:30, and complete the event by 12:30.
Things happen - please contact HR on 5509 9015 if you were expected but are unable to attend at late notice or are running late, leave a voicemail.
We request that you be on time, as unfortunately, late arrivals are unable to be accommodated due to the training content.
