Galston Concerts - British Organist & Composer Tim Attride

Sunday 13th July @ 2pm – Sydney Organs Group (directed by John Hanna) in association with Galston Uniting Church presents “An Afternoon with visiting British composer Tim Attride.The program will be a presentation of Tim’s original works and several of his arrangements. Works will include choral, organ & vocal solos – many of which will be well known hymn tunes + Tim’s descants. He will ‘guide’ us through the afternoon with his personal inspirations relating to the music presented. There will be an opportunity for the audience to participate in the well-known chosen hymns. In addition, the Galston Uniting Church Choirs and a visiting soprano (Lorraine Minton – member of the Sydney Coro Choir) will ‘bring to life’ his very accessible (and tuneful) works and arrangements.
