Presented by Canticum Chamber Choir, Brisbane under the direction of Emily Cox, one of Australia’s most experienced and versatile choral conductors.Enjoy a feast of uplifting and inspiring choral music from around the globe and through the ages. Canticum Chamber Choir, with conductor Emily Cox, performs a rich programme by Lauridsen, Poulenc, Gibbons, Rautavaara and many others, and features works by Brisbane-based composers Phillip Gearing, and Joseph Twist, with his recently-commissioned “Let me sing the world” written for Canticum, a simple plea for peace in the world – the theme uniting all the works in this concert.
