About
The Compassionate Workplace Forum will be held in Brisbane on Friday, August 8th, 2025, in conjunction with the national Dying to Know Day campaign.This forum will bring together leaders, practitioners, and community members to explore how workplaces and broader society can better engage with issues surrounding grief, palliative care, and death literacy. It is an opportunity to open up important conversations around how we support each other through life’s most difficult experiences in compassionate communities — particularly in professional and institutional settings where such topics are often overlooked or considered taboo.
The format will include the expert panel, followed by education sessions rich in evidence-based strategies, personal stories, and practical tools for implementing change in workplaces, schools, and service organizations.
