Brendan Kennedy (Tati Tati, Latji Latji, Mutti Mutti, Wadi Wadi, Weki Weki, Yita Yita, Nari Nari), an artist with a passion for reviving culture and language, is running two Emu Egg Painting workshops here at KHT for NAIDOC.Join Brendan for an exploration of the cultural significance of emu egg painting, the relationship to Country and respect for materials. Design and paint an emu egg with imagery and patterns that are meaningful to you. Everyone will be able to take home their own hand-painted emu egg to treasure.
All materials supplied, including emu eggs.
Light catering provided.

This session is is a culturally safe workshop reserved for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people only.
