Camp cooking is an important ingredient of Scouting camps and is sadly being forgotten in this takeaway world of packaged and fast foods. We rely too much on frying pans and barbecues on camps and outings.Sadly, a lot of scout groups are not allowed to have fires at their halls and the skill of cooking with a fire and coals is being lost unless you go camping in the outdoors with family and friends.
