This workshop introduces staff to the Impact Cycle, developed by Jim Knight, as a professional growth model to improve instructional practice and enhance student outcomes. Teachers will:• Explore the three stages of the Impact Cycle: Identify, Learn, and Improve.
• Work with the impact coaches to develop a PEERs goal that could be used in the Identify phase of the impact cycle
• Be introduced to the existing resources and checklists that could assist in the Learn phase of the impact cycle
• Understand the role of video reflection in the Improve phase of the impact cycle
• Reflect on how the Impact Cycle can be applied in their own context to improve practice and foster a collaborative culture of excellence.
