Dr. Jekyll and the Beast is a fresh, cheeky twist on the classic Jekyll–Hyde tale, co‑created by William Bailey and Danny Diesendorf.Belle, the daughter of the monstrous Mr. Hyde, has quite the “dad problems”—especially when he flips from charming to chilling in an instant. To help her cope, she befriends the Beast—who is more “aww” than “roar”—and together they try to dodge Hyde’s unpredictable rampages.
William Bailey, known for The Evil Green Hag and her Monster, Breakaway and Hot Potato, brings his trademark mischievous energy and physical comedy to the table, alongside Danny Diesendorf, a seasoned clown, mime, and physical performer, adding his own playful flair.
Expect some gothic shivers, plenty of laughs, and a sweet, unlikely friendship at the heart of the chaos.
