Working on location with a view of the ranges, we will create a number of small watercolour postcards that build skills while allowing us to reflect and connect to our environment.Learn how easy it can be to get started and create your own watercolour travel diary with prolific travel sketcher, Linda MacAulay.
This workshop aims to inspire you to establish a daily sketching practice and learn how to tell your own story by creating a unique sketchbook using watercolours.
Topics covered:-
Tips and tricks for working quickly on location.
Equipment – travelling light, what works…what does not?
The working process and techniques.
Composition and story-telling.
All Materials supplied.
Suitable for ages 14 and up.

Times: 9 am till 1 pm
Venue: Alice Springs Telegraph Station Historical Reserve on the banks of the Todd River in the picnic area just up from the toilets.
Cost: $120 Includes use of all materials.
