Fronted by Catherine Britt and Lachlan Bryan, The Pleasures are one of the most talked-about new Americana acts in the country. Together they produce a sound that is gritty, blues-inspired, interrupted by delicate moments of sublime country folk, with enthralling and often poignant lyrics.
Their subject matter leaps from bold and bawdy to heartfelt and insightful.
In two short years, this ‘side-project’ has seen the band take to festival main stages and tours across three continents. They have garnered excellent reviews for their killer live shows and have been lauded as a songwriting force.
Their debut record “The Beginning of the End” debuted at #2 on the ARIA Album Charts, has spent over three months on the Americana Album Charts in the Top 40 and they have been nominated for three Golden Guitar Awards.
In support of their new album dropping this August, we look forward to welcoming back The Pleasures to The Cordial Factory, Grenfell this November.
