Get your friends together, grab an inflatable toy, raft, boat, pineapple or anything that will float, dress up in whatever fancy dress you like, and set off in the Queensland Country Bank 'Great Inflatable Race'!!A feature event at the Townsville Airport Island Breeze Festival at Picnic Bay event, the 'Great Inflatable Race' will set off along two courses, a shorter one for children aged 13 years and under (young children must be accompanied by an adult) and a longer course for everyone else, near the iconic Picnic Bay Jetty.
There will be CASH prizes for the winner of each category listed below, as well as best dressed individual and best dressed team. So get those costumes sorted now!
Entry categories and fees are as follows:
• Individual Child up to the age of 13 (young children must be accompanied by an adult) - $5.00 each (Accompanying adult free of charge)
• Individual Teens/Adults aged 14 years and over - $10.00 each
• Teams - two or more participants - $15.00 per team
