Choosing Sails for Offshore Sailing with Doyle Sails
This presentation evening aims to help boat owners and skippers to understand offshore specific requirements for selecting the right sail for offshore cruising and racing. The right offshore sail inventory will help improve boat offshore racing performance and help cruising boats have a safe and successful sail in the ocean.
Blake Anderson is an experienced offshore racing sailor who has completed many offshore races and is the owner of his own sail loft (Doyle Sails Melbourne).
This presentation evening will cover all aspects of the selection options of new sails specifically for offshore sailing with direct comparisons with inshore (Bay) type sails.
Some samples of sail cloth for both working and down-wind sails will be provided and wrapped up with a question-and-answer session at the end.
