Join renowned local Perth actor Caitlin Beresford-Ord as she brings stories to life.
Celebrate ‘Love to Read Local Month’ at the Library by listening to selected stories from Greater City Shadows by Laurie Steed - read to you as you enjoy a cuppa and biscuit (or two).
Our new orated short stories events provide an opportunity for adults to listen to some notable short stories while relaxing in the Library. Caitlin’s lyrical and warm voice will draw you into a world of new and classic adventures, starting with a story from our own backyard—Perth.

About your Presenter/Orator
Caitlin is an experienced professional Actor and Teaching Artist, with a long and diverse career spanning many roles across theatre, musicals, film and television and positions in various organisations across Australia. She is a Student Ensemble Leader for the International Schools Theatre Association. She is also a Role Play Actor and Communications Facilitator for InterACT Experiential Learning Solutions and Cancer Council Western Australia. She is a Sessional Teaching Artist and Lecturer at Edith Cowan University and has been a Teaching Artist and Professional Actor with Black Swan State Theatre Company of WA since July 2001. She performs with The CoverGirls, Fremantle Theatre Company, Bell Shakespeare and Theatre 180, and has just completed touring WA and Canberra with their play 21 Hearts.
