High Achieving Teachers Program Information Session

About
ECU's program is part of the High Achieving Teachers Program: Phase 2 Expansion Pilots, supported by the Australian Government Department of Education.
ECU’s High Achieving Teachers Program (HAT@ECU) is an accelerated 18-month pathway to a Master of Teaching qualification, spanning seven school terms. Master of Teaching courses include Early Childhood, Primary or Secondary Education. Unlike our existing coursework schedule for these master's degrees, your study will be structured around the four Western Australian school terms.
HAT@ECU is an employment-based pathway designed to attract high-achieving professionals into the teaching profession by offering a unique combination of academic learning and paid school experience strengthening the theory practice connection. The program aims to strengthen and elevate the teaching profession by providing you with hands -on training, structured support and financial incentives, ensuring you graduate as a confident and capable educator.
The program includes $18,000 in financial support paid over the two years through a scholarship.
You'll also be paid while studying and start working in a HAT@ECU partner school from year one.
