Nature Journaling and Fungi Foray

About
Nature journaling can be seen as the intersection of science, art and nature. Come along to this workshop by Kim, an Australian artist, scientist, educator and aspiring naturalist, and learn about connecting to our environment and recording what you see. This part runs 930am to 12pm.
After lunch, we'll take a walk around campus on a Fungi Foray with ECU PhD students, looking for local native fungi and recording in our journals or using the iNaturalist phone app. Please dress for the weather as we will spend a few hours outside. We will head back to 19.143 at 3pm for collection.
You may bring your own drawing supplies or use those provided by Kim. Please bring your own lunch and/or money to spend at campus cafes. You can sign up for your own iNaturalist account before the workshop here: www.inaturalist.org
