Lette always thought he was just an average guy—until he's told he's far too ugly to present his own invention. Reeling from rejection and his wife’s brutal honesty, he turns to plastic surgery in search of a new face—and a new life. But as his new face begins to appear everywhere, Lette starts to wonder: what’s left of him underneath it all?The Ugly One is a fast-paced satire about beauty, identity, and the terrifying power of perfection.
