Please note that minimum enrolment numbers required - classes may not run if minimum numbers not met.
You must be a Friend of Kadimah to join one of these groups ($36 per person, per year).
NOTE: Pensioner and health care card holder discounts available - please contact the Administrator for a code.
BEGINNERS
YIDDISH ALEF 3 - with ESTHER SINGER
This class is suitable for those who have done one or two terms of Yiddish or equivalent. If you can have a simple conversation and read Alef-Beys this class is for you. In Term 3 we will continue developing our conversational fluency while adding in the past tense and exploring more Yiddish texts

INTERMEDIATE
YIDDISH GIML with ESTHER SINGER
A continuing upper-intermediate level class for those who have good comprehension and can read, write, and speak Yiddish. Read and discuss Yiddish literature and cultural texts while developing conversational skills, exploring advanced grammar and language topics.Tuesday 7.30pm - 9.00pm Online
Starting 29 July
YIDDISH BEYS with ESTHER SINGER
An intermediate class for 2nd year learners. This class focuses on exploring Yiddish songs and other texts, developing fluency, expanding vocabulary and cultural knowledge. This course is for you if you are comfortable reading simple Yiddish texts with some support, and having a conversation in Yiddish.Thursday 6.00pm - 7.30pm Online

ADVANCED
YIDDISH AMOL UN HAYNT with ALEX DAFNER
An advanced study group reading and discussing articles and contemporary happenings in Yiddish.Interested new students, please contact Esther Singer to discuss joining this group.
