The Mt Carbine Rodeo Association Incorporated is a voluntary, non-profit organisation and was formed in 2000 by local businesses and local people living in and around Mt Carbine.Our aim is to promote and encourage visitors to the area through our events. Over the past 25 years we have been able to upgrade the facilities so as other charities can use the grounds for their fundraising.

Condition of Entry – Rodeo and associated events are inherently dangerous recreational activities. In addition , animal can act in a sudden and unpredictable changeable way, especially if frightened or hurt. Serious INJURY or DEATH may result from rodeo or associated activities and events. By entering these premises you accept the risks associated with these activities.
Entry Tickets- Please ensure you have your tickets printed (Preferred method) or on your phone and at the ready for when you approach our gatekeepers. We recommend printing the tickets as the phone reception can be very limited at Mt Carbine so this can be hard to access your digital copy of the ticket when arriving at the gate.
Cash Only Event- NO ATM - This year we have updated our systems and have EFTPOS available at certain areas of the events. This however relies heavily on technology not letting us down, so to save disappointment we recommend bringing cash also.
Kitchen & Bar opening from 2pm: Tickets will be available from 2pm onwards for these areas. To save yourself lining up later on in the night to buy tickets, think ahead an buy your tickets when you arrive.
Rodeo Events starting at 5pm, with the Band Careless playing from 9pm onwards.
NO DOGS - Dogs are not allowed on the grounds due to livestock and the safety of other guests. Should you arrive at the gate with a dog you will be asked to camp outside of the grounds.
Water on the Grounds- The water at the grounds is not potable. We have water for sale over the weekend but please bring suitable drinking water for your camp if possible.
Licensed Areas- You are unable to enter the licensed area with your own alcohol. NO GLASS ALLOWED IN THE GROUNDS.
Queensland Police Service- We will continue to have a strong police and security presence at the event and we appreciate the work they do to make the event safe for all attendees. Underage drinking and unruly behaviour will not be tolerated, you will be asked to leave the grounds.
Queensland Ambulance Service- Paramedics onsite behind the Secretary Box at the arena from 5pm Saturday till 5am Sunday. If you are unwell or worried about a sickly friend please make use of these facilities as they are there to help.
Rubbish- Please help to keep our grounds tidy by keeping your camps free of rubbish. Bins are strategically placed around the grounds for your convenience. Recycling cans in bins provided in licenced area.
