Two Sundays. Four Iconic Wineries. One Unmissable Pie.

We’re leaning all the way into Winter comfort with flaky pastry, rich fillings and an indulgent splash of Penfolds Grange — BIG Reds & Bloody Good Pies is here, and it’s everything your cold-weather cravings could ask for. 

Old Bridge Cellars is teaming up with new-kids-on-the-block, Angelwood Pies to serve up a limited-edition, wine-infused pie designed to match some of Australia’s boldest reds from South Australia. Think slow-cooked beef bourguignon, rich red wine gravy, creamy potato topping — and yes, an entire bottle of Penfolds Grange tipped into the mix…we’re pretty sure that’s never been done before.

That’s right, Grange in the gravy! This isn’t just any wine tasting. It’s a pie lover’s dream.

Join us on Sunday 27th July or Sunday 3rd August, 12pm-3pm for an outrageously rich potato topped pie, paired with tastings of big, bold reds from four standout SA producers: 

• D’Arenberg (McLaren Vale)

• Majella (Coonawarra)

• Tomfoolery (Barossa)

• Penfolds (Multi-regional) 

Even better — all the wines poured on the day will be available to purchase at special event-only prices, so you can stock up on these winter warmers and see yourself through the chilly months in style.

How to get involved…it is essential to PRE-ORDER your pie to secure the goods. Wine tasting is included with your pie ticket. Not feeling the pie, no worries. Just register for a free wine tasting and enjoy the vibes.

• Pie + Tasting – $18 (includes one epic Angelwood Pie + wine tasting)

• Wine Tasting Only – FREE (but registration is essential)
