
The festival weekend of 27 - 29 September celebrates outdoor painting with exhibitions, painting demonstrations, have-a-go activities and over $13,000 in awards and prizes.
YOUR YOUTH ARTIST REGISTRATION INCLUDES:
- Painting within the festival footprint during the festival weekend 27-29 September
- Painting in the Quick Draw Two Hour Painting Competition, Monday 29 September (otherwise ticketed at $10)
- Eligibility to attend festival Masterclasses and Workshops (separate registration fee applies).
- Eligibility to exhibit a total of two artworks inside the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre
- Eligibility for over $13,000 in prizes and awards
LOCATIONS
SATURDAY 27 SEPTEMBER: around the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre, Eastern Foreshore, Marina and it's Venetian Canals
SUNDAY 28 SEPTEMBER: Edenvale Heritage Precinct Pinjarra, and around the Pinjarra Heritage Trail
MONDAY 29 SEPTEMBER: Two Hour Quick Draw at 10am, around the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre
As you register, you will be prompted to select ONE of the following main judging categories:
1. Youth: Under 13
2. Youth: Aged 13 - 18

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CANCELLATION POLICY BEFORE REGISTERING:
Refunds not related to a Covid-19 event cancellation
- Artist Registration fees are non-refundable.
- Participants who cancel a Masterclass registration more than 30 days before the event will incur a 20% processing fee.
- Participants who cancel a Masterclass registration less than 30 days before the event will not receive a refund, however may transfer their place to another participant/person. A 20% processing fee will apply for the transfer to another participant.
- All refunds that are due are issued after the festival weekend is over.
Covid-19
Plein Air Down Under will be following the directive of Australia’s Chief Medical Officer. If the directive is to cancel the event, all Artist Registrations, Masterclass and Workshop fees will be refunded in full within four weeks of the cancellation date.
