2025 Winter Surf Training Session Nippers 12 July
About
We will be having our first ocean surf session on 12 July. The Ocean surf sessions will be focussed on building board skills and confidence in ocean waves. We will be working on reading conditions, techniques for getting through the break, managing waves on the way back to shore. We will take the board trailer down and club boards for these sessions. We will have different groups based on age and skill. We will select the beach based on most favourable training conditions 3 days prior to session. During the winter, the best training beaches will be surf coast (e.g. Anglesea) but we may get lucky and have good conditions for training at Gunnamatta or another Mornington Peninsula Beach.Date
