By popular demand Helen is back this September with another 4 week 'Fundamentals of Oil Painting'.Focusing on Still Life (provided by Helen), the 4 lessons, 10am-1pm on Sundays' 7, 14, 21 & 28 September, will be held upstairs in the Bloomfield Fine Art Gallery. Seats and table easels will be provided.
Places are limited to 6.
This 4 week introductory course for oil painting novices offers you the opportunity to learn the skills that you need to start your creative journey in manageable 3 -hour weekly workshops. In a friendly and supportive environment, you will learn the fundamental steps to create a still-life painting.
Course description
How to draw up your image
Blocking in shapes using tone
Colour mixing
Painting mediums, brushes and equipment
Brushwork- blending- direction and shading
Adding details and highlight
It’s time for you to step into the wonderful world of oil painting!
A list of materials will be emailed, ready for the class.
