Join us for a powerful and heart-opening Cultural Immersion Tour at Willum Warrain, a safe and welcoming Aboriginal Gathering Place on the Mornington Peninsula. 🌿Led by members of the local Aboriginal community, this 90-minute experience is designed to deepen our understanding of culture, Country, and community through meaningful conversation and hands-on learning.
Programs may include:
A traditional Welcome Ceremony and yarning in the Ngargee area
📖 Storytelling and cultural discussion
🖤 Dance and performance elements
🌱 Exploration of the Koorie bush tucker trail
🏕️ Insights into traditional huts and material culture, including:
• Possum skin cloaks
• Coolamons
• Woomeras
• Spears and tools
🧠 Discussions around:
• Cultural awareness & First Nations diversity
• The Stolen Generation and impact of colonisation
• Treaty and the path to reconciliation
