Auslan interpreters will be provided for the event. Please let us know if you have any other accessibility or communication requirements.
This is a non-residential day camp, held 930am to 4pm Saturday and Sunday. Please BYO lunch and morning tea as our cafes are not open on weekends.
Thanks to grants from Inspiring Australia and National Science Week, this event is free for all Deaf and Hard of Hearing teenagers to attend, although places are limited.
SCIENCE CONTENT
This event will have interactive workshops featuring Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths components. We're still working on a timetable, so please let us know your favourite kinds of STEM so we can try to cater to all of your interests. There will be a graduation ceremony on Sunday 10th August from 3pm to celebrate our teenagers completion of the STEM weekend; family and friends will be welcome to attend to celebrate with us and enjoy an afternoon tea.
