Great German Romantics at Langley Estate

About
The program is an exploration into the wonderful romantic repertoire of the 19th century and pivots around the famous Trio for flute, cello, and piano, Opus 63 by Carl Maria von Weber which will conclude the performance. In addition, we offer a beautiful Australian work by Miriam Hyde, the lyrical sonata in B minor for cello and piano. In addition, the Hungarian Dance No. 1 in G minor by Brahms will be performed on the cello by Richard Narroway with Jerry Wong’s piano, alongside a beautiful arrangement of the Schumann Romances, Opus 94 originally composed for oboe, and performed on flute with Derek Jones. The Schumann Romances are also commonly performed on violin cello and clarinet.Date
