About
Help us pack candle bags to raise vital funds for homelessness!The candle bags, filled with family treats and toys generously donated by Woolworths and their suppliers, are sold at The Salvation Army's Carols in the Domain, with proceeds going towards The Salvation Army’s homelessness programs.
We have 8000 candle bags to pack in total, each containing around 25 items! During each shift we’ll need your help on the packing line and in other roles, ensuring each bag is filled with these items and stored away, ready for delivery.
If you are signing up as a group you can register all members of your team in the one booking - please have their name and email handy! However, only the person making the booking will receive the registration confirmation email and will be responsible for sharing volunteer information with team members.
Please note:
- Volunteers must be aged 18+ to participate
- Additional info and a volunteer brief will be shared closer to the event
