The Ngargee Tree Heritage Walk is a Cultural Activity Led by Senior Boon Wurrung Traditional Elder Aunty Carolyn Briggs, who performs a welcome to country and leads the journey of her traditional connection to the local environment from the sacred Ngargee Tree to Cleve Gardens and down to the St Kilda Foreshore.Registrations are a must so please make sure to book a spot!
SCHEDULE:
Gather at the Ngargee Tree – Talk conducted by N’arweet Aunty Carolyn Briggs: 11.00am – 11.30am
Walk down to Cleve Gardens: 11.30am – 12.00pm
Gather at Cleve Gardens: 12.00pm
Smoking Ceremony Conducted by Willie Pepper: 12.30pm
Heritage Walk finish: 1.00pm
