SLX Up Late

Looking to continue the dancing into the wee hours of the morning? SLX Up Late has you covered..

Lazy Bones Jazz Bar has been a favourite Jazz venue of Sydney’s scene for 11 years. A relaxed vibe with so much atmosphere will set the party mode. Dance floor surfaces include timber, carpet and tiles. We recommend slippery soled shoes to suit all surfaces. A licensed bar with snacks available will help take your dancing till the wee hours.

This is a non-BYO event.

Deco Dance

Petersham Town Hall, 107 Crystal Street, Petersham. 

Dress up in your finest vintage attire and cut a rug at the beautiful Art Deco Petersham Town Hall. The famazing Andrew Dickeson's Blue Rythm Band with Jane Reinhardt plus some of the best Swing DJ’s  will keep the dance floor Swinging all night long. This is a BYO event with soft drinks and water available to purchase.

P-Jam Late Night!

We are excited for the return of a classic SLX event: P-JAM Late Night!

Anyone who has attended this event in the past has had the fun experience of dancing in their pyjamas amongst a group of swing dancers. A quick change from your vintage outfits from Deco Dance into your novelty, vintage inspired or most comfortable pyjamas and you will be ready to hit the dancefloor.

There will be prizes for best dressed outfits, a few fun games and the wonderful Sara O'Connor's Swing Session with The Aston Martini's playing swing music and some DJs playing tracks to keep the party going till the wee hours.

Sydney Portugal Community Club will be the venue with a full licensed bar, air conditioning and a large timber dancefloor.

Enter the fabulous Art Deco Hotels, Cocktail Lounge and Swing Out to the energetic tunes of Queen Porter Stomp, a favourite band from past SLX’s. There is also a rooftop bar for catching up and saying good bye to friends afterwards.
