Blackburn High School will be hosting a ThinkUKnow presentation on Wednesday 20 August at 5pm and all parents and carers are encouraged to attend.The ThinkUKnow program has been developed by Victoria Police and Australian Federal Police and is delivered by our local community liaison officer with Victoria Police.
As parents and carers, you play an important role in protecting your child from harm. ThinkUKnow aims to support you in preventing and managing safety challenges that your child may face, as well as guiding your child to understand these and feel empowered to take action.
Topics included within the presentation are specifically aimed at educating and increasing awareness about online child sexual exploitation including avoiding inappropriate contact, online grooming, self-generated content, sexual extortion and how to get help.
