Against the Grain, With the Flow is a feature-length documentary exploring the life, career of South Australian sculptor Greg Johns. Spanning over 50 years of work, Johns' large-scale and smaller public sculptures are found not only throughout South Australia, but across the nation.Produced over two years by filmmaker Harry Kellaway, the film features extensive interviews captured across Australia, including Sydney and Melbourne, offering deep insight into Johns' creative journey. The documentary employs a variety of visual formats including 16mm, Super 8, and 35mm photographic film as well as features newly discovered archival footage.
