The topic for the evening is "The vanishing Christmas card, or our changing patterns of writing." Roly will cover interesting aspects of literacy, how we write and what we write, digital writing and hand writing, and other things.Roly Sussex is a well known specialist in language, communication and culture, and health communication. He is currently Research Professor in the Institute for Teaching and Learning Innovation, and in the School of Languages and Cultures, at the University of Queensland. Roly features in the weekly radio program on the ABC "A Word in Your Ear."
