Be a part of the North Cottesloe PS Chess Club in Term 3 2025!Students in Years 2 to 6 will have the opportunity to learn the game of chess, starting from the basics to more advanced strategies. Chess isn't just educational, it's also fun and engaging, fostering problem-solving and cognitive development. Join us to enjoy the fun side of chess while building valuable skills!
Key information:
- The club is open to students from Year 2 to Year 6.
- Weekly sessions on Monday mornings from 7:30 to 8:30 am before school
- The club will be held in the Arts Room. The first week of chess in Term 1 will be Monday, the 28th of July.
- Term fees are $140 per student ($120 each for multiple family members)
Please note, the term fee covers a 7-week period, with weeks 8, 9, and 10 offered free to compensate for public holidays and any missed sessions due to illness. Unused sessions will be carried forward to future terms.
