ECU’s School of Education has again partnered with WA Health Promoting Schools Association (Inc) to offer a third professional learning seminar to Early Years Pre-Service Teachers.

Promoting Health in the Early Years is a dynamic two-hour Professional Learning Workshop facilitated by WAHPSA.

This seminar is designed to empower Early Years Pre-Service Teachers with the tools and knowledge to promote health and wellbeing among children aged 2-10 years old.

Featuring expert speakers from Animal Fun, Kidsafe WA, Crunch&Sip, and Little Aussie Bugs (ECU’s health literacy resource), who will showcase innovative, classroom-ready programs that support:

• Safety and injury prevention;
• Gross and fine motor development through imaginative play; and
• Nutrition, oral health, and personal hygiene education.

All resources and strategies are aligned with the Western Australian Curriculum and the Early Years Learning Framework, ensuring seamless integration into your teaching practice.

All attendees will receive a certificate of participation for their professional learning records.
