Puppetry United is a campaign to support puppetry artists to have their say about working conditions for the upcoming Performers Collective Agreement Negotiations in 2026.This agreement determines rates of pay and working conditions that workers are chartered under when engaged by a producer for any contract in the live performance industry.
We are putting together a log of claims. This is a wishlist of demands that will be put on the table and negotiated by MEAA when the agreement is renewed next year.
We are hosting three open call Zoom events in July. This event will be facilitated by Alex Joy and Ursula Searle with support from committee members of UNIMA Australia.
