About the Presenter
Anette Søgaard Nielsen is an Associate Professor at University of Southern Denmark. She is MA in Nordic literature, and a PhD in Psychiatry. Anette has 20 years of experience in leadership and management, primarily as the leader of one of Denmark’s largest treatment institutions for alcohol use disorders, and as head of smaller research teams. Anette has been a member of Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT, Inc.) since 1997, and has served as member of the Board as well as a trainer of new trainers in MI. Anette is author or co-author of 80 peer-reviewed scientific articles, seven books and 20 book chapters, in addition to a series of publications for clinicians and reports, most of them about the treatment and implementation of evidence-based practice in alcohol use disorders.
