Leadlighting Garden Post Workshop
About
Join Michele Hollister of Mihardwork Glass Art as she demonstrates the basic skills of leadlighting. Participants will draw their leadlight design, then cut, shape, lead up and solder their glass. Each participant leaves with their own ironbark garden post, featuring their light-catching, one of a kind leadlighting design. Garden posts are 1650mm long.For all skill levels.
PARTICIPANTS MUST WEAR COVERED IN FOOTWEAR.
All equipment and materials provided.
Light smoko is provided, feel free to bring your own snacks or a plate to share.
McKinlay Shire Cultural Association presents this workshop at half the cost to participants, thanks to the support of the Regional Arts Development Fund; a partnership between Queensland Government and McKinlay Shire Council to support local arts and culture in regional Queensland.
