L’Académie is hosting Shane Wuerthner for a day of masterclasses which will include conditioning and anatomy, Vaganova-based open classes and repertoire.Based in QLD, Shane is a highly sought after ballet coach who trained in the Vaganova method at Kirov Academy of Ballet in Washington DC. He is a former professional ballet dancer who's 12 year career spanned 3 continents. He danced leading roles with the Vienna State Opera and San Francisco Ballet as a Soloist and Queensland Ballet as a Principal Dancer. His Repertoire has included Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, Giselle, Coppelia, La Fille Mal Gardee, The Nutcracker, and La Sylphide.
This is an amazing and rare opportunity for dancers (Junior and Senior) to learn from a professional and enhance their skills.
