Malmsbury Georgian Choir Weekend, October 17-19
About
A weekend of singing with friends who love Georgian music, led by Krzysztof Derwinski.
• Friday night involves a gathering at a local cafe.
• Saturday involves workshops on Georgian songs at the Malmsbury Town Hall (MTH).
• The Saturday BYO supra (feast with much toasting and singing) is open to weekend participants. Close friends are welcome at no charge but bookings are required.
• Sunday starts with a workshop to prepare for a sing at the Malmsbury Market, followed by free time to enjoy the market offerings, then a final concert open to all.
• A debrief and farewell will follow the concert and those who can stay on are welcome to join us at the pub.
Weekend ticket includes:
Friday night gathering.
Workshops on Sat and Sun at MTH led by Krys.
Supra on Sat night, 7:00pm at MTH.
Sunday workshop at MTH, singing session at Malmsbury Market and afternoon concert performance at MTH.
Workshop refreshments.
Not included:
Accommodation
Food or drinks.
