Support your Teen's Mental Health Support your Teen's Mental Health with the Psychological First Aid and Wellbeing Skills for Parents Workshop SessionLearn how to support an adolescent developing a mental health problem or in crisis. The Psychological First Aid and Wellbeing Skills for Parents is a four hour workshop ideal for parents, teachers, coaches, youth workers and anyone working with young people aged 12–18.
Delivered in one stand alone session, the four hour face-to-face session covers a range of relevant and practical information with instructor Lorraine Cushing-Kleber: Rosebank College on Thursday, 31 July from 4:30-8:30pm. The cost to attend is $115 pp (including light catering and workshop materials).
Topics include depression, anxiety, psychosis, eating disorders, substance use and how to respond to crises like panic attacks, self-harm and suicidal thoughts.
