Elmer Labog is the Emeritus Chairperson of the KMU Labor Center in the Philippines. He will take part in the AMWU National Conference later in July, and then visit Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne and Perth, to explain the current realities for workers and trade unions in the Philippines, as well as the broader political situation there between the Marcos' and the Dutertes. As well, the military buildup by the US around the Philippines is now a race towar between the US and China.Date
