This workshop will provide an overview of the conceptual framework for quantitative research skills required during a postgraduate degree.
During the session, an overview of the following topics will be provided:
- the ethical framework in which quantitative academic research is carried out,
- key tips for best outcomes during the quantitative journey,
- how to formulate quantitative-based questions that are critical for guiding your experimental design and selection of analytical methods,
- necessary considerations required for selecting analytical methods that best suit your research, and
- resources accessible at ECU for developing quantitative skills during the postgraduate degree.
This workshop provides essential foundational knowledge for anyone undertaking independent quantitative research.
