Using the media to establish your presence and promote your research might not be considered a convention, or a common practice amongst researchers. However, the benefits and opportunities can go beyond the one-off appearance. Lisa Bradley, Manager, ECU Corporate Relations will discuss why you should consider using the media to promote your research, and provide advice and practical tips on how to prepare a persuasive media release.
This workshop forms part of the unit CPR6100 - Communicating and Presenting Research. All ECU higher degree by research students are welcome to attend even if you are not enrolled in CPR6100.
In-class attendance and participation is required to receive resources.
