The content of this workshop is aimed at ECU Higher Degree by Research students.
This session provides an overview of the tenets of Visualisation and how to apply design principles to effectively communicate your research.
This session provides an overview of the tenets of Visualisation and how to apply design principles to effectively communicate your research.
It will cover examples of Data Visualisation in research, an overview of basic design principles, and a practical component where we will look at various online tools that you can use to develop graphics for a poster. Please bring along an electronic device (laptop or tablet) as you will be using this to work on Canva, an online design tool.

This workshop forms part of the unit CPR6100 - Communicating and Presenting Research. All ECU higher degree by research students are welcome to attend even if you are not enrolled in CPR6100.
In-class attendance and participation is required to receive resources.
