Do you love the look of needle turned appliqué but would like to learn how to do it by machine? This technique is achieved by turning the edges over a semi soluble fusible stabiliser, glue basting then stitching together. Learn to use fussy cutting to make your design shine.
Create either the Cushion/ Wall hanging or Small Quilt whilst learning Rachelle's favourite turned edge applique technique.
The price of the workshop includes the cost of the Tutors Kit (valued at $30) which includes the pattern for both the Cushion/Wall hanging and the Small Quilt, the pre-cut applique shapes and a pack of applique sticks.
Arrive at 9am for a 9.30am start. Class finishes at 4.30pm
Important Refund Information
Refunds will be issued if the event is cancelled. Tickets are not transferable to another attendee or event. Refunds will be processed for cancellations received by email to events@melbournemodernquiltguild.com up until 5pm fourteen (14) days prior to the event commencement. After this time, refunds will only be issued if another person is availble to take your place.
